Welcome to the Singer Bantam gallery. This is a collection of photograph albums reflecting images of surviving Singer Bantam cars from around the world. There is a mixture of original cars, beautifully restored vehicles and those which will be beautiful after restoration. The one thing all that these cars have in common is that they were all built by the Singer Car company in Coventry, between 1935 and 1939. Earlier cars had a 972cc engine whilst models built from late 1937 changed to the 1074cc variety with a three bearing crank. Body styles included: 2 and 4 door saloons 2 door coupes Roadsters, mainly bodied in Australia 5 and 7cwt vans There are presently over 100 surviving examples identified on the Register, including cars known to the Singer Owners clubs around the world. If you have a car of this type, please add your photograph and let others know about it! I am especially keen to get pictures of cars that are not currently featured, even if they are not presently roadworthy. If you look in the gallery you will find immaculate cars, unrestored cars, restoration projects and wrecks. You will even find pictures of the development of a unique Bantam special, Hot-Rod. For further details of the Singer Bantam Register and archive material relating to Brochures, Contemporary Adverts and Instruction Manuals, please see The Singer Bantam Register. This site is maintained by David Garn, Singer Bantam registrar for the Singer Car Owners Club (SOC) and the Association of Singer Car Owners (ASCO) in the UK. Latest update - 2oth October 2008
